The Sparrows SHANK quickly opens a large variety of everyday locks including most Filing Cabinets and Tool Chests! When used properly the SHANK will open the lock within seconds without any damage. Simply insert the Sparrows SHANK through the key way and search for access to the prawl at the back of the lock. With the shank you are able to pull back the prawl/lock dog that is held in place by a spring. The lock will then open.
